While travelling, my eyes witnessed a sleeping man,
Whose appearance indicated he did not belong to a wealthy clan.
His body may be aching, as it had no cure;
But after getting tired, his mind was sleeping at peace, I am sure.
Observing him I desired to look for more,
Some listening, talking; while others standing near the door.
Some indulged in reading their endless newspaper,
And it seemed, we all belonged to unnamed family for such mindful chatter.
Noticing others lead to different perceptions.
Hence I came to know that the best lesson is what I get after observations;
And, To be happy, it isn’t required to have all possessions.
This is when I realized travelling isn’t merely meant to reach destinations!
